While the details are still obscure, we have a very accurate idea of what is coming to Android N : a split-screen UI. How do we know? That is because the Pixel C team said so in a Reddit AMA. Quoting the words of the Chrome and Android Director of User Experience Glen Murphy: “We’re working hard on a range of enhancements for Android in this form factor… there are many things, like multi-window, that we’ve been spending a lot of time on – hopefully we can share more about this soon.”His colleague, hardware director Andrew Bowers, added: “We’re working on lots of things right now for N that, of course, we wish we had, you know, yesterday. We will not spoil the surprise by giving out all the details we know about Android N yet. Keep in mind that Google is still searching for a name for it and you might actually be the person names it.
