In this tutorial "How to Randomly Hack a Home Routers", we are going to show you how to use port scanner to identify home routers (and even office routers :p) and after that we will try to log in to those routers.

In the world most of users doesn't change there router's default password because most of them only know how to use without know how to configure the router itself. So that's the point. We can use that vulnerability to hack the routers.

Requirements:

Port Scanner (I use zenmap in this tutorial)
Web Browser (I use Google Chrome)
Internet Connection
First of all I want to tell you why I use Zenmap because Nmap is the best friend of hackers and Zenmap is the graphical user interface of nmap.

Step by Step How to Randomly Hack a Home Routers

1. We should select an IP range. I have selected IP range that includes my public IP address.

XXX.XXX.30.0-XXX.XXX.30.255

2. Now let's scan for home routers.

When you finished your scan, You can find IP addresses which has open ports such as http port(80), ftp port(21) and telnet port(23).

I have found many IP addesses with port 80 is opened.

So I stopped my scan.

3. Now you can access these addesses using your web browser because http port is opened and we need to find whether the web page is router log in page.

4. If you see the alert error messages, it says TD-8817. So we can Google for it

search "TD-8817 default username and password"

5. Now let's try to access these IP addresses using default logins we just got on step 4.

Default username and passwords are not same for every routers.

With username : admin and password : admin, we can log in to the router administration page

Attacker can do several harmful things when they can access router page, such as:

Redirecting DNS to malicious websites
Phishing Attacks
etc
Conclusion:

Because most of users doesn't change their router passwords. It's a very bad habit because hackers can access your router form anyplace through internet when you are online and It is very harmful to you. So you must change your home router's password. Keep it on you mind.

THE Senate, on Tuesday, clarified reports about the purchase of its project vehicles, saying that the upper chamber only bought 36 cars, not 108.

Chairman, Senate Services Committee, Senator Ibrahim Gobir, who stated this in an interview with newsmen, said the chamber had earlier taken a decision to purchase cars for one senator per state.

Senator Gobir said the public was apparently misinformed about the purchase of the cars, saying that each of the Toyota Land Cruiser VXR V8 cost the Senate $90,000.

The senator said that the vehicles eventually cost Senate the sum of N36.5 million each, after tax was added, adding that the Senate did not obtain any loan to buy the cars.

"A lot has been happening within the last two days concerning the issue of cars vis-a-vis car loan and cost of the car and we feel it is necessary to come out and inform the public about what it is, so that people can have a better understanding of the whole thing.

"First, I would like to say that the issue that we bought 108 cars is totally wrong. It is not correct. We bought 36 cars. Yes, 36 cars because each senator in each state is either a chairman or a vice chairman and we gave one car to each state.

"We don't have money to buy 108 cars. On the issue of buying cars without appropriation, this is totally wrong, because this has been appropriated for in the 2015 budget.

"So we used what we have in the 2015 budget to buy the 36 cars, so that it can go round each state.

"On the issue of the cost of the car, the showroom price is N36.5 million and we are surprised. The car we bought is Land Cruiser VXR V8 not V6. Therefore the showroom price is about N31 million minimum and when you put 10 per cent tax, it becomes 36.5 million.

"In fact, you can go to the internet and download it. It is very simple. We can give you the website, we have several items we downloaded from the internet, you can see them. This particular car costs about $90,000.

"By the time you multiply that, you will have about N28.8 million so when you add tax, you will end up with about N37 million.

"So I think what we have purchased the car for is very reasonable and we are sensitive to economic challenge.

"We are supposed to buy 109 cars, but because of the paucity of funds, we bought only 36 to go round per state.

"There is no minister that hasn't got about three or four cars. One Land Cruiser, maybe a backup and two Hilux pick-ups. There is no director in the civil service that hasn't got a car, there is no permanent secretary that hasn't got a Land Cruiser.

"In fact, every House of Assembly member has either a Prado or a Land Cruiser and here is a senator you say he cannot have one Land Cruiser," he said.

Speaking on the issue of car loan, he said no senator was given car loan.

"Currently, we have money for 36 vehicles and we procured only 36. We had a close session and we all agreed that we should give one car per state. We sat down and agreed on who needs the car most and that was what happened," he said.

Be ready to jail 5,000 pastors, PFN tells el-Rufai

The Kaduna State Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, on Tuesday, said the over 5,000 pastors in the PFN would rather obey God than obey the proposed preaching bill currently before the state House of Assembly when passed into law.

The state PFN chairman, Prof. Femi Ehinmidu, who spoke at a stakeholders' roundtable conference in Kaduna, expressed concern on the bill being sponsored by the state government.

Ehinmidu told the state government to be ready to jail the over 5,000 pastors in the state's PFN if the government believed it could muzzle the citizens to pass the bill into law.

He argued that the bill remained a recipe for crisis in the state when passed into law.

Ehinmidu pointed out that unless the government carried out wider consultations among critical stakeholders, the bill, which he claimed started on a faulty note, was bound to fail.

The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, has, however, cautioned religious leaders against politicising the bill before the Assembly.

El-Rufai told the stakeholders that the preaching bill he sent to the state Assembly had no intention of banning evangelism in the state but aimed at curbing emerging religious extremism.

Speaking at the Roundtable Forum, organised by a non-governmental organisation, Carefronting Nigeria, with the support of the Canadian High Commission, el-Rufai, who was represented by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, said the bill was informed by the government's concern for security of lives and property.

The forum was tagged Kaduna State Religious Preaching Regulation Bill: Intention and Perception.

The governor said the government had no ill feeling towards the views of the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Jama'atul Nasril Islam and other critical stakeholders, who had made genuine positions on the matter.

He added that some people had started politicising the good intention of government to restore peace in the state.

He explained that the bill, when passed into law, would allow the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Jama'atu Nasir Islam to check strange ideological beliefs that were not in tandem with Christianity and Islam.

THE refusal of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to exempt foreign carriers from its forex policy has claimed its first casualty, with Iberia Airline pulling out of Nigeria.

According to information gathered late Tuesday, Iberia, the Spanish national carrier, was said to have taken the decision, in view of the financial predicaments brought upon it by the CBN forex policy, which prevented it from repatriating its proceeds made in Nigeria for many months now.

Since the introduction of the policy, the foreign airlines have over $500 million trapped in the various banks which they ought to have repatriated to their various home countries.

Prior to the decision of Iberia, many of the foreign carriers had expressed their displeasure at the CBN policy, with many threatening to withdraw their services from Nigeria if nothing was urgently done to reverse it.

Information gathered on Tuesday indicated that apart from Iberia, other foreign airlines had concluded plans to equally pull out of the country.

In view of the latest development, the foreign carriers are expected to meet with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja, today.

Upgrade. Windows 10 has a better UI. Their seems to be a bug presently that sucks through battery polarity and Windows EDGE, does not log unto nairaland directly. But using chrome or other browsers, works fine.
This are the only 2 drawbacks I have seen presently, hopefully a patch from Intel and Microsoft, would cure this soonest.

1. Ice Prince

If anybody can mention 5 popularly hot songs on which Ice Prince laced his rapper prowess, I’m talking bars only, no singing, then I might consider retracting this thought. I mean, how can a rapper’s popular songs be the ones where he’s busy making cacophonious melodies? Honestly, Ice Prince trips me the way and manner which he runs his shxt but he seriously needs to have a handle on it.

2. Olamide

I understand that my musical choices can sometimes be far above the obtainable standard in the Nigerian music industry but regardless, there’s a global culture for music be it hip-hop or rap, R&B, alternative, classical and bla bla bla. Thank the stars that Nigerians have found a means to best suit everything they now do under the ‘afro’ context, it still doesn’t suffice… in my opinion though, especially when I think of where Olamide can be classified. Do we really want to call that thing he does, rapping? I rest my case.

3. Lil Kesh

I honestly thought talent (skill + hardwork) and presence were the major factors for one to succeed, or better still, gain due recognition. But dramatic turn out of events at the Headies awards stage on new year’s made me start to entertain thoughts otherwise. The obvious question is not whether Lil Kesh is talented, yet it seems the powers that be kept hitting a road block of ‘buts’ every time his izzue was set on cruise control. It may have much to do with the fact that this talent that we so speak of, cannot be in relation to an actual music art, i.e rapping. I may not be one to speculate but personally, I’ve had enough of this near funny yet phonic foolishness that their pac have become admirably famed for.

4. Tiwa Savage

There’s this popular adage that says when the breeze blows, the fowl’s behind will be exposed. The interpretation is quite lucid and suffice to say it’s an expression of best fit for what has now become Tiwa Savage’s music career. I was one of the #SavageSoldiers who stayed rooting for her comeback with a big bang so you can imagine my joy when she announced the surprise album. I am not so ecstatic for her anymore as her album was a mirror to how badly she has given in to pressures from the industry. Afterall it is not by force to be on top.

5. MI Abaga

It’s impressive that M.I (still) has a legion of fans who are ready to stake their lives over a stained glory that is now fast blotted out. So if I go ahead to say M.I is not (or rather, no longer) Nigeria’s king of rap, you’ll agree with me right? Even if you don’t, shall I remind you that Jesus Christ hasn’t ever stopped being Lord? So why then should we make an excuse for M.I when his case afterall isn’t any different? I’m shamed by how kids he inspired have risen far above the ranks where he now settles for less average. M.I has gotta stop being a lazy bastid!

6. Wizkid

Wizkid’s music has experienced a terrible downward slope from the boy who made it right off the ghetto streets of Ojuelegba and crossed onto the paved walkways of Wall Street to becoming the certified face of the Nigerian music industry who now sings absolute rubbish.
